In a richly re-imagined 1920s Venice, young composer Hero Wasabi and his oboe-playing cat Jacuzzi are preparing for the Abacus Scroll competition for the best musical composition. But rival composer Count Telefino has set the villainous Morsocodo to do whatever it takes to stop Hero's music from being heard.
