An art-house film following a deliberately interpretative non-linear story line, much like art itself. The Great Artist explores themes of depression, artistic frustration and religious belief, made on a minimal budget by actor and writer Connor Haywood, in moments of his own artistic frustration, in attempts of metaphorical representation.
