In this American western, Roy Rogers is a sheriff in Manzanita Springs. Vance Brados is paying a mechanic to drain the planes of their fuel supply so that the pilots carrying gold shipments can be murdered and the cargo stolen. Roy wants to catch the bad guy in the act, so he arranges for a special shipment of gold in order to catch the mechanic in the act. But Brados gets suspicious and hesitates about whether or not to proceed with the next plane sabotage and theft, possibly ruining Roy's plan to entrap him.
