Watch The Fire Within

This dark psychological drama was loosely based upon a book called "Will O' the Wisp". The film, directed by famous director Louis Malle, stars Maurice Ronet as Alain Leroy. The plot revolves around a single grim issue: will he discover a sufficient reason to continue living, or will he carry out plans to kill himself after deciding that life has become futile. Alain leaves an alcohol rehabilitation center, where he has been recovering from alcohol abuse and had grown severely depressed and suicidal. He heads for Paris with the intention of paying one final visit to friends in the city.
