Watch The Ballad of the Valiant Knight Ivanhoe

This Soviet retelling of the classic tale of the knight Ivanhoe sees the daring hero embark on a series of battles in a bid to reclaim his lost love Rowena. Ivanhoe has joined King Richard the Lionheart on a series of Crusades in the Middle East. Returning to England he finds the King has usurped by his brother, John, and Rowena has married another during his long absence. Ivanhoe assembles a group of loyal men to assist in his quest to restore the English throne and find his one true love.
