Watch Temperature Rising: G-String Divas

First, G String Divas is an HBO documentary that follows the lives of strippers who worked at the Diva’s National Club in the Bristol, Pennsylvania area. The thirteen episodes followed the lives of nine specific dancers. Temperature Rising: The Best of G String Divas is a compilation of the segments considered to be the most groundbreaking in the lives of the nine dancers.

Both Temperature Rising and G String Divas are adult shows but one thing that both do is help to break some longtime public stereotypes by humanizing the individuals who do this kind of work. It also not about a beautiful “dance” of a sex scene that is shown in many movies and films now but about showing the nitty gritty realities behind the work of stripping. It encourages the public to appreciate what strippers actually go through from their home lives to their training to doing the actual job.
