The romantic comedy Tall Girl 2 follows the further adventures of a self-conscious girl who longs to be popular. After Jodi Kreyman gains popularity, her miscommunications start causing rifts with those around her and now she really needs to "stand tall". On December 1, 2020, Netflix selected Sam Wolfson to write a Tall Girl sequel, with Ava Michelle is set to return as Jodi.

Principal photography began on April 12, 2021, and concluded on May 21, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The film was released on February 11, 2022. The trailer of series has been released on Youtube on January 19, 2022.
