Taintlight follows on the coattails of teen trends. Teenagers who love sexy vampires, and those who hate the trend, will both find something to like about this satire of a modern genre. The movie lacks much in the way of a central narrative. In general, the comedy follows the adventures of a girl dealing with newfound love with an ancient vampire. However, in reality the movie focuses more on using the theme as a general launching point for interconnected sketch comedy.

Those looking for a stronger narrative might want to stay away. But those who love random referential humor, or stories about vampires might well enjoy Taintlight.
