Watch Summer Day's Dream

An illustrious cast including John Gielgud, Emily Watson, and Saskia Reeves heads J B Priestley's vision of England in the aftermath of a nuclear war. Stephen Dawlish lives off the land, swapping vegetables and sharing locally brewed beer with his daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Suddenly three World Government officials appear with plans to build an industrial center.
