Watch Story-Telling

This Coronet Instructional film uses the "creepy clown" figure (his macabre looks not improved by color film stock faded to a watery blood red) to introduce very young viewers to the concept of chronology. The game we play is called "What Happened First?" We're told some simple stories about protagonist Jim and then their events are "scrambled" and we must try to put them back in correct order. For instance, did Jim put on his pajamas before he said his prayers or after? We also learn how to draw pictures that tell a story. - Dennis Harvey
