Staind - Live from Mohegan Sun is a 2011 concert film featuring the American rock band Staind. The film was recorded during the band's performance at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on November 25, 2011. The concert was part of the band's "Illusion of Progress" tour in support of their sixth studio album of the same name.

The film features the band's original lineup of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Aaron Lewis, lead guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist Johnny April, and drummer Sal Giancarelli. The concert includes a mix of the band's classic hits like "It's Been Awhile," "So Far Away," and "Right Here," as well as tracks from their then-new album "Illusion of Progress."

The film is directed by Milton Lage, who previously worked with the band on their music videos for "Falling" and "Right Here." The concert footage is interspersed with behind-the-scenes interviews with the band and their crew members providing insight into their creative process and the making of the show.

One of the standout performances of the concert is the band's humble rendition of "Outside," a song originally recorded with Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit. The live version of the song features Mick Fleetwood and Steven Tyler on drums and backing vocals, respectively, and is considered by many as one of the highlights of the concert.

Aaron Lewis also takes center stage on a few occasions throughout the concert, performing a solo acoustic rendition of "Country Boy," a song from his then-forthcoming debut country album, and later in the show performing an emotional version of "Zoe Jane," a song dedicated to his daughter.

The concert is not without its lighter moments, however, with the band joking around on stage and engaging with the audience between songs. At one point during the concert, Johnny April even takes the mic to sing a few lines of Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It," much to the delight of the crowd.

The overall performance of the band is tight and energetic, with Aaron Lewis' vocals particularly impressive as he effortlessly transitions between melodic singing and aggressive screams. The chemistry between the band members is also evident, as they effortlessly play off one another during extended instrumental sections of their songs.

Staind - Live from Mohegan Sun is a must-watch for any fan of the band, as well as for anyone who appreciates rock music in general. The film captures the essence of what makes the band so special and will leave viewers feeling like they were in the audience, experiencing the magic of the concert firsthand.
