Watch Southward Ho

Southward Ho is an American Western starring Roy Rogers and Gabby Hayes. The film is set shortly after the Civil War, and Hayes and Rogers are former Confederate soldiers on their way back home to Texas. When they get home, they find a Union Colonel in command. He's a decent man, but his Captain is a crook out to rob everybody he can. Things get even worse when the Union troops confiscate everybody's guns, and the Captain murders the Colonel in order to seize control.
