A Harlem, New York teen knows that he does not have what it takes to play basketball. He is far too short for that, but he longs to be included in the games with his friends. That will never happen as far as he is concerned. His height is also the bane of his existence where girls are concerned. He is unlucky in everything simply because he does not bear the stature that most guys do. Feeling sorry for himself, he is about to give up all together, but there may be a ray of hope after all. All things are not based on how tall a person is, as this boy finds out.
