Watch Shabhash Daddy

This hilarious comedy documents the life of the standup comedian named Shabhash Daddy. He is from India originally but has immigrated to the United States. At first, the audiences in rural Alabama don't understand his jokes. They even call him racial slurs and threaten his life. However, after a series of hilarious pranks and important speeches he leads the town's mayor to believe that he is actually from Alabama in the first place. While this movie contains comedic elements, it is also shows the audience how the power of speech can turn the ordinary into something healing and progressive for a community.
