Agnese, a Sicilian teenager, is seduced by Peppino, her sister Matilde's fiance. To complicate the matter, Agnese becomes pregnant. Agnese's father, Vincenzo, wants a shotgun wedding, but Peppino does not. Vincenzo then takes matters into his own hands, and the slapstick begins.
