Searching for Wooden Watermelons is a movie about a girl from a small town who has a lifelong fear of change. At 25-years-old, all she knows is life in the small town of Beaumont, Texas. She spends a lot of her time caring for her grandmother and mother. Despite the isolation of the remote town, she harbors an inner dream that may mean leaving the area.
