Ready Jet Go!: One Small Step is an American-Canadian animated movie that follows the intergalactic adventures of a group of friends and their robot, Jet Propulsion. The movie is directed by Craig Bartlett, produced by Wind Dancer Films and PBS Kids, and stars Ashleigh Ball as Jet, Kyle Rideout as Sean, and William Ainscough as Sydney.
The movie starts with Jet and his friends, Sean and Sydney, preparing for their school trip to the local observatory. When they arrive, they meet Dr. Ellen and her daughter, Mindy, who also happen to be Jet's alien neighbors. Dr. Ellen invites the children to her lab, where she is working on a new spacecraft called the Mini-Saucer. She explains that the Mini-Saucer can travel faster than the speed of light, and she needs their help to test it.
Excited at the prospect of intergalactic travel, the children agree to help Dr. Ellen test the Mini-Saucer. They don spacesuits and blast off into space, eventually landing on the moon. There, they discover a strange object buried under the lunar surface, which turns out to be a piece of ancient alien technology. The children realize that the object had been lost on Earth centuries ago, during an ancient astronaut mission. Suddenly, they find themselves in a race against time to uncover the truth about the ancient astronauts and their impact on human history.
Along the way, Jet and his friends encounter a group of mischievous aliens who steal their Mini-Saucer. The children must work together to get it back while dealing with their own fears and insecurities. Jet, in particular, struggles with his identity as an alien on Earth and his desire to fit in. Meanwhile, Sean and Sydney learn to work together and trust each other, despite their different personalities.
As the children journey deeper into space, they learn about the history of the universe and the wonders of space travel. They encounter various planets and learn about their unique properties, such as the gravitational pull of a gas giant, the extreme temperatures of a frozen planet, or the bizarre creatures that live on an asteroid.
As they get closer to the truth about the ancient astronauts, the children realize the importance of curiosity, research, and teamwork. They come to appreciate the wonder and beauty of the universe and their place in it. Inspired by their experiences, the children return to Earth with a newfound sense of purpose and determination to explore the unknown.
In conclusion, Ready Jet Go!: One Small Step is a fun and educational movie that teaches children about space travel, astronomy, and teamwork. The movie features colorful animation, likable characters, and an engaging storyline that will keep kids entertained while also teaching them valuable lessons about science and exploration. The movie is suitable for viewers of all ages and is a must-watch for anyone interested in space travel and astronomy.
