Watch Providencia: March of the Crabs

On a remote island off the coast of Colombia, a small crab is embarking on an epic journey. Over the next three days, she will travel two miles to release her precious cargo of eighty-five thousand fertilized eggs into the sea...and she's not alone; an army of female crabs laden with eggs are on the same march, but not all will make it there alive. Witness the remarkable migration of the black land crab, as millions of mothers-to-be traverse hostile terrain, fend off myriad predators, and dodge highway traffic to reach the coast of Providencia.

Providencia: March of the Crabs is a 2022 documentary with a runtime of 44 minutes.
