Prototype X29A is a film released in 1992. The film takes place in a futuristic society in the year 2057. It tells the story of a crippled solider, Hawkins, living in Los Angeles. Fed up with his disability he signs up for an experimental program designed to help him walk again. When the program does not procure the results expected things begin to get out of control. The man is not a killing machine and he has the power to interfere with any computer. After killing members of a resistance movement he gains a few enemies. The members of the resistance group are humans that were cybernetically altered. They refer to themselves as the Omegas and battle the government forces. They soon find out their leader has a special connection with Hawkins.
