Watch Proteus

The plot places six heroin smugglers adrift in the ocean, they stumble upon what seems to be a oil rig but is actually a highly advanced biological testing facility. They encounter a mysterious man there who warns them to leave at once. However, they need to find their heroine before they do so for a upcoming deal. Their search is horrifically interrupted when they begin disappearing one by one. They soon realize that something else is occupying the station, something not quite human.

Proteus is a 1995 thriller with a runtime of 1 hour and 36 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.1.
