The Corona pandemic changed the world. A tiny virus killed millions and brought the world to a standstill. But SARS-CoV-2 is not the first - nor the last - virus to jump from animals to humans. Researchers from The Friedrich Loeffler Institute on a remote island in the Baltic Sea joined forces to try to put a stop to the viruses stored there under high-security conditions.
