Watch Penn Can Mall 2002 Dead Mall Tour

In the 1970s and 80s, Penn Can Mall was the most popular mall in Central New York. After it closed in 1996 it fell victim to neglect and vandalism. On May 21, 2002, two former "mall rats" brought a video camera to Penn Can Mall in an attempt to film the outside of the building before most of it was demolished by its new owners. They ended up going inside and getting an unforgettable two hour tour.
