Paraiso is a short documentary focusing on the dichotomy between the haves and the have nots. It tells the story of three Mexican immigrants who set off every day to clean a large skyscraper. Outside, each of the three men have a stirring story to tell about how they came to this point in their lives. Inside, crowds of wealthy businessmen and businesswomen go about their daily lives. The viewer is offered a chance to think about how the wealthy people of Chicago walk around the poorer residents without giving them a second glance. At the same time, it shows how much the working poor contribute to the city as a whole.
