Open Up To Me is the story of a transgender woman's struggle and ultimate triumph of finding her identity in modern day Finland. Maarit has successfully managed to live a double life for over 10 years - a male body transformed into a desirable woman. Her new life has come at a considerable price and among the most painful burdens Maarit must bear is the longing for her estranged daughter, Pinja.
