Mugshots: Robert Silveria - 3rd Rail Man is a crime special that was released straight to DVD in 2013. The special focused on Robert Silveria, a serial killer who is serving a double life sentence for murdering more than 30 people. Robert Silveria is known as the Boxcar Murderer. He was a part of the Freight Train Riders of America, a group of homeless men who rode the train, specifically in the Northwestern part of the United States. According to reports, he committed his first murder in 1981 by stabbing an unknown hobo to death with a knife. He continued the same murdering methods with unknown hobos for 15 years in different states. In 1996 he was arrested and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
