Watch Mr. Butterfly

In this South Korean action film, Min-jae leaves his girlfriend Eun-ji behind in his hometown in order to seek his fame and fortune in Seoul. He promises he will be back within 12 months, but it is five years before these young lovers set eyes on each other again. Within that time, Min-jae has developed ties to organized crime and become somewhat of a playboy. Likewise, Eun-ji has also changed, having married a military hero who is very controlling and jealous. But rekindling their long-ago romance could prove dangerous to both Min-jae and Eun-ji.
