"Mitzva Savta," also marketed under the English language title of "Operation Grandmother," is an Israeli comedy from the year of 1999. Three brothers, Alon, Benni, and Idan, are tasked with the proper burial of their grandmother within her kibbutz's cemetery in Asisim. However, Alon's career within the military has him juggling a tense time table due to the impending launch of a special operation which he is expected to direct. In order to expedite the burial process and its rituals, Alon leads the funeral proceedings with a very military mindset.
