Vinod is a young man who has not had the best life. From an early age he has been acting as a vandal, getting his hands on whatever food he can steal. He works a dead-end job that pays him nothing, giving him not enough money to survive. One afternoon he saves a doctor from a fire. After the doctor recovers, Vinod steals a certificate from her possession. The certificate belongs to an individual that is mentally ill and therefore is entitled to free food and shelter. Vinod changes the name on the certificate to match his own in order to receive the same perks.
