Watch Mahasamudram

This Indian Malayalam drama film was released in theaters in 2006. The film follows a humble fisherman named Ishak who lives with his mentally ill father in the village of Puthenkara. He is also the best player on the village soccer team called the Beach Eleven. An affair develops with a girl named Devi who is from the village of Mattukara, home of the Eleven's biggest rival. Devi's brother Riza Biva is furious that his sister is planning on marrying a rival team player. He is willing to go to extreme lengths to prevent the marriage and stop the talented Ishak from competing against them in a soccer tournament.
