Living Space is a horror movie that takes the audience on a spine-tingling journey to explore the horror faced by two lovers on a holiday in the heart of Germany. The movie, directed by Steven Spiel, follows the story of an Australian couple, Brad (Leigh Scully) and Ashley (Georgia Chara), who embark on a romantic getaway to escape from the daily grind of their busy lives.

As their vacation progresses, strange occurrences begin to take place around them, and they are forced to confront the terrifying reality that they may not be alone in their secluded cabin in the woods. The movie is set against the backdrop of World War II and is inspired by the real-life tragedy of a group of German citizens who were slaughtered by Russian soldiers in the final days of the war.

Living Space begins as a slow-burning horror film, with the audience slowly being introduced to the couple as they embark on their journey. However, as the movie progresses, the pace quickens, and the cinematography becomes more intense. There are a few jump scares and moments of pure terror that are well-placed throughout the movie.

The movie heavily relies on the concept of the uncanny valley, where the audience is presented with a situation or an environment that is almost familiar, but not quite. This concept is effectively used to create tension and fear in the audience. The couple's cabin in the woods, for example, is well-decorated and welcoming, but there is something off about it that the audience can't quite place.

The soundtrack is another highlight of the movie, with the composer, Nils Eklund, using haunting choral arrangements to create an unsettling atmosphere. The music is perfectly timed, and there are moments where it takes center stage, creating a sense of dread and fear in the audience.

The performances of the lead actors, Georgia Chara and Leigh Scully, are strong, with both actors convincingly portraying a couple deeply in love. However, there are moments where the dialogue feels clunky and unnatural, which detracts from the overall experience.

The movie also suffers from several plot holes and inconsistencies, which may leave some viewers scratching their heads. The ending, in particular, is puzzling, and may not be entirely satisfying for some viewers.

All in all, Living Space is an effectively creepy horror movie that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. While it may not be perfect, it is a worthwhile watch for fans of the horror genre.
