"Light" is set in the not too distant future and centers around Lucas, a boy born with hypopigmentation (Oculocutaneous albinism) who discovers that along with his rare appearance, his birth also granted him developing "super powers" that aid him and his genius best friend, Jake in navigating the often troubled waters of high school. Unfortunately, as with many gifts, there are those who desire to exploit Lucas' unique situation for their own nefarious ends. Caught in the middle is Jake & Lucas' science teacher, Mr. Gunther, a former defense contractor, who has a unique understanding of the value of Lucas' powers.
