Lapin kullan kimallus (Gold Fever in Lapland) is a Finnish movie about the desire to make it big. When gold is discovered in the harsh landscape of northern Finland a rush to start mining it begins. Hoping to be able to afford the life that he has been looking for, down on his luck Lindman joins with the rush and heads out into the wilderness to stake his claim. While the gold may be plenty the harsh landscape and at times harsher competition may be more than Lindman will be able to handle as he finds him self face to face with possibility he won't get his fortune.
