The story takes place in Italy, towards the end of WWII in a run down hotel. Rosa and her mother try to keep it functioning, but with no food available it's a major problem. When Rosa's mother died suddenly she is left to the mercy of the sleezy hotel guests. After a vicious rape Rosa calls on her absent father to avenge her. Then the hotel guests are killed at the hand of a masked gunman.
