La Ley Del Cholo 2 is the second installment of a Mexican crime drama, this one filmed in 2000. The movie is about the havoc created by a gang that's trying to take over the streets and rule the community they live in. Fear and repression are common topics throughout. Big Joe and El Momia are the leaders of the gang. El Momia translates to The Mummy. Gangsters are generally known by their nicknames, as shown in this film. A main endeavor of the gang is to convert law abiding young men into gang members who skirt the law, creating a lawless environment.
