Brindavan and Kusum are two young adults who have spent their entire lives growing up around each other. From an early age it was quite obvious to the surrounding community that these two kids would end up getting married one day. Kusum is so in love with Brindavan that she decides to get his name tattooed on her arm. However, after suspecting that he has been unfaithful to her Kusum decides to burn her arm in order to remove the tattoo. That is the last that the two will see of each other for many years until fate plays a funny role in reuniting them.
