This film is about the story of two people named Karl and Doris, who one day meet each other on the train. After they first meet each other, they decide to steal a few items that later causes Karl to search for Doris at her workplace located in Leipzig. Once he arrives in Leipzig, Karl and Doris decide to find a better way to get to know each other by participate in a variety of strange encounters with several members of the Leipzig society, as well as meeting a brothel owner and a peculiar friend of Doris.
