Suraj (Vinod Khanna) is a private owner/trainer whose best friend in the whole world is his wonder horse. The horse, Chetak, poses a direct threat to millionaire punter, Rana (Amrish Puri) on the race course and the macho Suraj poses a challenge to Rana?s pampered daughter, Jyoti (Kimi Katkar). Jyoti wins Suraj?s heart only to lose him by a cruel twist of fate.
