Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a musical comedy which was released in the year 1999. Back in Canaan, Joseph's brothers and father are also suffering from the famine. They hear about the abundance of food in Egypt and travel there to seek help. When they meet Joseph, they do not recognize him as he has become a great man in Egypt. Joseph recognizes them and sets out to teach them a lesson about forgiveness and redemption.
