In Janin, life in a fishing village is disrupted when it's villagers find that their money is being stolen. Later they discover it is the work of Esah, a mystical creature living in their midst. When Esah finds a loving family, however she becomes distracted from her duties, which results in her being furiously punished by her master. This leads to a vengeful Esah who embarks on a killing spree.
