Hunger is about a sensitive and young writer trying to make a name for himself in Hollywood. Charlie Pontus (Joseph Culp) aims at selling his screenplay for a hot meal. His struggle grows when he meets an attractive and powerful Hollywood producer. She is in a position to give him a huge break. Charlie's principles and morals are tested when the relationship gets stronger. Romance and loyalty put Charlie in a very awkward position. He faces the challenging task of maintaining his sanity when he refuses to push aside the concepts that has made him a talented writer and strong man.
