Honey Girl is an urban story of a young girl coming of age in Brooklyn, New York. Honey Girl (Mirena Alston) finds just trying to get by each day, to say the least, can be difficult at times. Her best friend Dee (Quyn Wright), looks at life as one continuous party. The movie explores their close relationship as they are confronted with their daily trials and tribulations. With everyday real life street corner characters and a soundtrack of gritty, funky RnB music Honey Girl is a must see to survive living in the hood.
