After Dave Filmore's apartment is robbed, and he is hospitalized for 30 days with a debilitating disease, he feels like a changed man. The ordeal leaves him hungry for justice and realizing that life is short. So he decides to live out his biggest childhood dream.
Juiced-up on experimental meds, HERO MAN grabs his homemade cape and plastic lightsaber, vowing to defend the needy and powerless. Equipped with a ray gun he designed himself strapped atop his "Batmobile", he ventures out in search of trouble.
He starts by challenging martial arts experts, a Darth Vader impersonator, and pro wrestlers to battle.
