Tate Noble left his childhood home after the murder of his parents. But his return to that same town stirs up a hornets nest of trouble when he discovers that Sheriff Sam, his childhood friend, knows the identity of the murderer. Tate and Sam decide to join together, even accepting help from organized crime figures, in order to force the murderer out into the open so that Tate can exact justice for his parents' death.
