Guadalupe is the story that takes place in 1531 of a humble Mexican peasant named Juan Diego, who is approached by the Virgin Mary. He is told by her, to send an important message to the local bishop. The bishop does not believe him, and demands proof. Juan Diego returns to the Virgin Mary asking for help to get this proof. She does this in the form of Castilian roses and the cloak he wears. This is a story of miracles that has passed from one generation to the next, and throughout the centuries.
