Victor is a bored California suburbanite cheating on his wife Adele with girlfriend Jean. Adele feels sexually frustrated and keeps busy with an endless round of community volunteer projects. Their daughter Kim has an incestuous sexual yearning for daddy, but starts a relationship instead with a much older man, her father's business associate Ted. Adele eventually meets a sex novelist with whom she enjoys a fling. But everyone's secret affairs start to unravel when Victor and Jean unexpectedly encounter Kim and Ted when they visit a new age health resort.
