Geng: The Adventure Begins is a computer animated children's film from Malaysia and 2009. Badrol and Lim are the best of friends who decide to kill some time and curiosity by revisiting a rural village that keeps Malaysian traditions alive. Things become complicated and interesting once the two find a clue that points to a legendary residence deep within the Malaysian wilds. Rather than go by themselves, the kids team up with several locals in order to uncover the mysteries of the remote forest village. The film received several accolades from various film festivals and award ceremonies throughout Southeastern Asia.
