Three female friends sharing a house at the end of the eighties in Johannesburg, South Africa, find their own way to live under apartheid. Thoko, a black teacher, practices non-violent passive resistance. Afrikaaner Aninka takes refuge in archaeology and Sophie is a terrorist putting bombs in public places. Each respects the other's ideas, but one of Sophie's bombs will change everything.
