Watch Free Radicals

A 1979 drama film which takes place in a minimum-security women's correctional facility in the rural midwest. The film centers around Cathy, a former college sociology professor. We see that Cathy is relatively isolated from the other prisoners, and does not participate in the organized activities that have been arranged with enthusiasm. Cathy is withdrawn and we discover that she was responsible for the bombing of a federal building for political reasons, in which a middle school field trip was in attendance. Cathy then learns to cope with the responsibility of her actions. The film includes depictions of violence.
