This 2004 documentary, directed by Carla Garapedian, follows the story of Jane Kokan's treacherous investigation into the death of Zahra Kazemi. The film also follows Kokan's rigorous delving into the political and religious machinations that underpin the strict and sometimes, brutal, oppression of students, freethinkers and journalistic investigators within Iran.

The film uses live shot footage as well as interviews with various members of the Confederation of Iranian Students and various other oppressed organizations whom advocate freedom of speech and expression. The leader of the Confederation, Arzhang Davoodi, was arrested for his participation in the film and charged with spreading lies and propaganda subversive to the government.
