Escape from Hell Island is a independent action drama film that is based on a novel about a captain from Florida who attempts to smuggle in some Cuban immigrants and a woman dies during the process. In addition to that, the captain loses his license for boating due to the deceased woman's husband betraying him after he himself made it safely to the United States. The majority of the movie is filmed in Key West, and this story depicts a lot of the current issues on Cuban immigrants trying to flee their country by getting to Florida. This is a typical old fashioned movie from the 1960s.
